Choosing your flight sortie
Depending on which aircraft you are flying, you will be able to tailor your flight sortie in discussion with your pilot. You can read what a typical sortie consists of under our flight Offers section, and the various testimonials of some of the people that have already enjoyed a Thunder City fighter jet experience.
Planning your trip
Clear weather is an important prerequisite for jet flying. For this reason, and if you are flying from abroad, we suggest that you allocate upto 5 days in cape Town, especially in winter.
Having the correct passport and travel documentation is important. Please check with your travel agent, and ensure that you have met all the necessary passport requirements including for South Africa, having a minimum of 2 blank pages in your passport.
Flight Attire
We will supply you with a flight suite and safety boots. It is important that you provide us with size of suite and size of boot you will need.

Health
If you have a history of cardiovascular or breathing-related challenges, we suggest that you consult with your local doctor before booking to fly a fighter jet. If you think you will suffer from motion sickness, we suggest you do not eat before the flight and/or you ask your doctor to prescribe a safe medication which can assist you.
Safety
Thunder City has a robust safety track record of more than 1600 accident-free sorties. All passengers are given full ejector seat training prior to the flight, so that you are able to take the relevant actions in case of an emergency.
